Laura Laslo's acrylic paintings combine a sensitive use of color that engulfs the viewer through her ingenious use of the octagonal design and a feeling of texture within the subject. The results are both dynamic as well as intriguing leaving the viewer with a sense of inspiration and awe.

Laura Laslo

Laura Laslo's acrylic paintings combine a sensitive use of color that engulfs the viewer through her ingenious use of the octagonal design and a feeling of texture within the subject. The results are both dynamic as well as intriguing leaving the viewer with a sense of inspiration and awe. 

Laura holds a B.A degree from San Diego State University. Her work has been exhibited in Los Angeles, Marina Del Rey, Laguna Beach, Long Beach, San Diego and throughout Mexico.

The artist describes her work in terms of the Chinese philosophy called Yin and Yang. Laura says "there is a fusion of opposing forces. The square represents man-made objects. I use the octagonal shape because it can be evolved from the square or the circle."
